Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University will appoint a Student Representative to the Sustainable Green Campus Commission in order to strengthen student participation in the Commission’s activities, incorporate students’ views and suggestions into decision-making processes, and contribute collectively to the development of a sustainable campus.
The selected Student Representative will be expected to bring a student perspective to the Commission’s activities, contribute to the consideration of students’ views and needs, provide opinions and suggestions regarding sustainability-related activities and practices, and actively participate in relevant meetings and activities.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants are expected to:
- Be actively enrolled as a student at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University,
- Be a 3rd- or 4th-year undergraduate student,
- Have an interest in sustainability, the environment, climate change, energy, water, waste management, sustainable transportation, social contribution, or related areas,
- Be willing to represent students’ views regarding university and campus life,
- Be able to participate regularly and actively in Commission meetings and activities.
- Previous involvement in student clubs, volunteering activities, social responsibility projects, the İŞKUR Youth Program, or sustainability- and environment-related activities will also be taken into consideration during the evaluation process.

1. An up-to-date Curriculum Vitae (CV)
2. A brief motivation letter
In their motivation letter, applicants are expected to briefly explain:
- Why they would like to serve as the Student Representative on the Sustainable Green Campus Commission,
- Their areas of interest in sustainability and green campus practices,
- Any previous involvement in projects, student clubs, volunteering activities, or other relevant initiatives,
- How they believe they can contribute to the Commission’s activities and campus sustainability.

18 September 2026, with the subject line:
“Student Representative Application – Full Name”
Applications will be evaluated based on the applicants’ motivation, interest in sustainability, relevant experience and activities, approach to student participation, and potential to actively contribute to the work of the Commission.
Applications will be evaluated at the Sustainable Green Campus Unit Board meeting during the week of
21 September 2026, and the Student Representative will subsequently be selected.
