• To develop innovative policies that influence decision-makers at the academic and societal levels as a pioneer in local, national and international policy development efforts on ecological sustainability.
• Collaborations and Stakeholder Engagement
• To create a strong network with stakeholders by establishing regional, national and international collaborations in the sustainability activities of our university; to develop joint projects with public institutions, non-governmental organizations, private sector and other universities.

2. Reducing Campus Carbon Footprint

• To increase the use of renewable energy sources, carry out energy efficiency projects, make transportation systems environmentally friendly and develop innovative solutions in waste management in order to reduce the carbon footprint of the university.

3. Academic Contribution and Awareness

• To encourage academic studies on ecological sustainability, to add sustainability-oriented courses to the curriculum, and to increase the level of knowledge and awareness by organizing awareness seminars and field practices with students.

4. High Score Target in UI GreenMetric Ranking

• To carry out comprehensive performance improvement studies on energy, water, transportation, waste management and sustainability in order to ensure that Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University ranks high in the UI GreenMetric sustainable university rankings.
