MSKU Veteran Women's Volleyball Team Wins the Republic Cup
The Muğla University Sports Club Veteran Women's Volleyball Team, comprised of our university's academic and administrative staff and including our coordinator Serap Altın Kaya, defeated their opponents to win the championship trophy at the October 29 Republic Volleyball Tournament held from October 24–26, 2025.
Participating in the tournament organized by the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and the Muğla Volleyball Revival Association for the first time, our team demonstrated the fruits of its regular training throughout the season. The Veteran Women's Volleyball Team advanced to the finals by defeating Köyceğiz Municipality 2–1 and Evinin Sultanları 2–0, and finished the tournament on top with a 2–0 victory over the Muğla Volleyball Revival Association.
In the statement made after the tournament, it was stated that the doors were open to all volleyball fans who wanted to join the team, and that preparations for new tournaments were continuing at full speed.
