💧 Water Savings, Sustainable Transformation on Campus

In collaboration with the Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Sustainable Green Campus Coordination Office and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and with the contribution and support of the Department of Construction and Technical Works, water-saving practices have been implemented to promote the more efficient use of water resources.
🌱 The impact of these practices is also reflected in water consumption data. In the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences buildings, water consumption decreased from 1,815 m³ during April–August 2025 to 1,040 m³ during the same period in 2026, representing a reduction of approximately 43%.
These results demonstrate that water-efficiency practices implemented on our campus can deliver tangible and measurable benefits.
We hope that this exemplary practice will be expanded to other faculties and buildings across our University, contributing to the more efficient use of natural resources and supporting our sustainable campus goals. 🌍💧
