Ride, Repair, Win! "Pedal Time on Campus" Workshop Attracts Great Interest at Green Campus
The Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Sustainable Green Campus Coordination Office successfully concluded its "Pedal Time on Campus" awareness workshop, organized to promote eco-friendly transportation and popularize bicycle culture on campus. The event took place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 15:30 in front of the Faculty of Engineering (Ayışığı Square).
The workshop, organized by Lecturer İlknur Alpak from the Coordination Office, was led by Lecturer Feridun Ekmekçi and was met with strong attendance. Participants received practical training on bicycle usage and maintenance, covering topics such as:
- Bicycle selection
- Safe cycling practices
- Tire repair
- Chain replacement
This enjoyable workshop, held amidst nature, was realized in collaboration with the EnverÇevko Association and Muğla Kemeraltı Bisiklet. The mini-competition and experience sharing held at the end of the event fostered both learning and fun.
Organized under the slogan "Ride, Repair, Win! – Pedals Turning for a Sustainable Campus," the workshop stands as a concrete step toward a more livable and sustainable future on our campus.
